The transport properties of 4He are determined in the temperature range of 10K to 150 K and pressure range of 0.101 MPa (1 atm) to 0.210 MPa, in classicaland quantum frameworks, employing numerical and molecular dynamics simulation(MDS) techniques. Although classical MDS is efficient and comprehensive inunderstanding the transport properties, the increasing effect of quantumdiffraction in the temperature range of 10 - 40 K is not accounted for in theMDS. The statistical error associated with the Green Kubo (GK) approach alsoadds to the uncertainty in the simulated transport coefficients. The articlepresents a detailed analysis of the uncertainties in the classical MDS to studythe transport phenomena of 4He at low temperatures. In particular, it addressestwo questions, how the quantum effects manifest at different temperature andpressure regimes and how the statistical error in the autocorrelation functionsof the GK approach can be minimised.
