The purpose of the study was to explore the usefulness of fluorine-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F-FDG PET-CT) in the preoperative assessment of isolated anterior mediastinal lesions, especially in the planning of operative strategy (biopsy or upfront resection).
