The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has mapped potential storage sites for CO 2 . The areas evaluated includes all three provinces of the Norwegian continental shelf; the Barents Sea, the Norwegian Sea and the North Sea. The study is based on exploration wells, 2D and 3D seismic data. The resulting raster and vector data will be made available on the NPD website. This includes 76 raster surfaces.
