The Division Energy, Resources & the Environment (ERE) of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) provides an international platform for scientists from a wide range of fields with the common denominator that their research topics have high societal relevance. The ERE community develops approaches for the solution of global economic prosperity, environmental quality and political stability based on interdisciplinary research on adequate and reliable supplies of affordable energy and other resources in environmentally sustainable ways.
