The codes HFgradZ.py and HFgradT.py find axially symmetric minima of aHartree-Fock energy functional for a Hamiltonian supplied in a shell-modelbasis. The functional to be minimized is the Hartree-Fock energy forzero-temperature properties or the Hartree-Fock grand potential forfinite-temperature properties. Various constraints may be imposed on theminima.
