Existing hybrid Level Set / Front Tracking methods have been developed forstructured meshes and successfully used for efficient and accurate simulationsof complex multiphase flows. This contribution extends the capability of hybridLevel Set / Front Tracking methods towards handling surface tension drivenmultiphase flows using unstructured meshes. Unstructured meshes aretraditionally used in Computational Fluid Dynamics to handle geometricallycomplex problems. In order to simulate surface-tension driven multiphase flowson unstructured meshes, a new SAAMPLE Segregated Accuracy-driven Algorithm forMultiphase Pressure-Linked Equations is proposed, that increases the robustnessof the unstructured Level Set / Front Tracking (LENT) method. The LENT methodis implemented in the Open- FOAM open source code for Computational FluidDynamics.
