In June 2015, Thomson Reuters informed our publisher Springer that the Journal of Cell Communication and Signaling, the official journal of the International CCN Society, « had been selected for coverage in Thomson Reuter’s products and services. Beginning with V. 1 (1) 2007, this publication would be indexed and abstracted in Science Citation Index Expanded (also known as SciSearch), Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition, Biological Abstracts and BIOSIS Previews ». In this fall editorial I briefly revisit a few milestones of the JCCS life since it was first created in 1988, with the deep and genuine willingness to help in the dissemination, in the highly competitive world of publishing, of the best quality science regarding the roles of CCN proteins in signaling.
