In this paper, based on basic constraint qualification (BCQ) and strong BCQfor convex generalized equation, we are inspired to further discuss constraintqualifications of BCQ and strong BCQ for nonconvex generalized equation andthen establish their various characterizations. As applications, we use theseconstraint qualifications to study metric subregularity of nonconvexgeneralized equation and provide necessary and/or sufficient conditions interms of constraint qualifications considered herein to ensure nonconvexgeneralized equation having metric subregularity.
