The  X-ray  powder  diffraction  (XRPD)  pattern\udof [Mn(NH\ud3\ud)\ud6\ud](ClO\ud4\ud)\ud2\udat room temperature can be indexed\udin  the  regular  (cubic)  system  (Fm\ud3m  space  group)  with\udlattice cell parameter\uda\ud=\ud11.5729 A\ud ̊\udand with four mole-\udcules per unit cell. The XRPD pattern at 100 K is evidently\uddifferent, and it indicates lowering of the crystal structure.\udOne phase transition at\udT\udh\udC1\ud=\ud143.5 K (on heating) and at\udT\udc\udC1\ud=\ud137.6 K  (on  cooling)  was  detected  by  DSC  for\ud[Mn(NH\ud3\ud)\ud6\ud](ClO\ud4\ud)\ud2\udin  the  range  of  120–300 K.  The  fol-\udlowing thermodynamic parameters for phase I\ud$\udphase II\udtransition  were  obtained:\udD\udH\ud=\ud3.1\ud±\ud0.2 kJ mol\ud-\ud1\udand\udD\udS\ud=\ud21.6\ud±\ud0.3 J mol\ud-\ud1\udK\ud-\ud1\ud. The large value of entropy\udchanges (\udD\udS\ud) indicates considerable configurational disor-\udder in the high temperature phase. The presence of 5.9 K\udhysteresis  of  the  phase  transition  temperature  at\udT\udC\udand\udsharpness of the heat flow anomaly attest that the detected\udphase transition is of the first-order type. Appearing of the\udtwo new bands (splitting of\udd\uds\ud(HNH)\udF\ud1u\udmode) in FT-MIR\udspectra at the vicinity of 1200 cm\ud-\ud1\udsuggests that the phase\udtransition undergoes a change of the crystal structure
