We obtain differential heat conduction equations of the considered problem and their solution in the form of an arbitrary expansion of temperature in a series in terms of Legendre polynomials. Arbitrary convective heat exchange on the faces of a plate is taken into account. Numerical calculations are performed with the aim to investigate the influence of thermal anisotropy and the values of the heat exchange parameters.
