Ausgehend von einer konkreten technischen Fragestellung diskutieren wir indieser Notiz die Anwendung verschiedener Gl\"attungsverfahren auf Datens\"atzemit vorgegebener Struktur. Wir stellen die Verfahren im Detail vor undbesprechen die Vorund Nachteile. Insbesondere stellen wir hier diesymmetrisierte exponentielle Gl\"attung vor, die ein sehr gutesGl\"attungsverhalten mit einem hohen Ma\ss~an Symmetrieerhaltung kombiniert.  (Based on a specific technical question, we discuss the application ofvarious smoothing methods to data sets with a particular structure. We presentthe methods in detail and discuss their advantages and disadvantages. Inparticular, we present the symmetrized exponential smoothing that combines verygood smoothing behavior with a high degree of symmetry-conservation)
