We introduce a tropical analogue of Fay's trisecant identity for a specialfamily of hyperelliptic tropical curves. We apply it to obtain the generalsolution of the ultra-discrete Toda lattice with periodic boundary conditionsin terms of the tropical Riemann's theta function.
