The top asymmetries measured at the Tevatron, and the discrepancy in thedi-photon Higgs rate under investigation at the LHC represent two possiblehints of physics beyond the Standard Model (SM). In this paper we address thepossibility to explain and relate both these experimental anomalies with thehelp of an extra scalar doublet in addition to the SM particle spectrum. Theconnection is provided by the constraints that the electroweak precision testsimpose on the oblique S and T parameters. As a result, considering thesemi-leptonic single top production in the tW-channel at the LHC, our analysispredicts a bump in the invariant mass distribution of the two light jets.
