Transition charge density (TCD) for $ 0^+\to 2_1^+ $ excitation have beencalculated for $\rm ^{70,72,74,76}Ge$ nuclei within microscopic variationalframework employing $2p_{3/2}, 1f_{5/2}, 2p_{1/2}$ and $1g_{9/2}$ valencespace. The calculated TCDs for different monopole variants of Kuo interactionare compared with available experimental results. Other systematics likereduced transition probabilities B(E2) and static quadrupole moments Q(2) arealso presented. It is observed that the transition density study acts as asensitive probe for discriminating the response of different parts of effectiveinteractions.Comment: 11 pages, 2 figures.
