The ion=interaction equation is used to calculate the mean activity coefficients for the saturated aqueous mixtures, NaCl+Na2SO4 and NaCl+MgCl2. A comparison between these values with those obtained from solubility shows a good agreement over a wide temperature range as well as at high ionic strengths for both mixed systems.
