International audienceThe use of ring-disc electrodes enables the detection of metacresol, resorcinol, orcinol, phloroglucinol and pyrogallol at concentrations down to 10-7 M and generally the titration of these compounds with an accuracy of a few percents when the concentrations are larger than about 5 x 10-6 M. Phenol, ortho-and para-cresol can be titrated at concentrations larger than about 5 x 10-5 M.
