As repor ted previous ly [1], in the frui t of Herac leum asperum we have detected bergapten, phel lopterin, and a substance of undetermined s t ruc ture . Continuing invest igat ions of the coumar in composi t ion of this species , we have isolated yet another furocoumarin, biacangelicin C17H1807 • H20 with mp 117-118 ° C. The melting point of anhydrous biacangelicin is 125-126 ° C, [c~]~ +24 ° (c 0.05; absolute ethanol).
