International audienceIn this Research, the desktop micro formingmanufacturing system has been developed. A micro forming system has beenachieved in Japan and its developed micro press is limited to singleforming process. To coincide with the purpose to be more practical,research and development is necessary about the press which the multiforming process is possible. Micro patterned metal components are usedin so many precision engineering fields. This micro pattern plays animportant part in the functional movement of precision module. Thismicro pattern on the metal component can be made by EDM(ElectroDischarge Machining). But this EDM method has low productivity becauseEDM tools can be worn easily. If another manufacturing process isdeveloped with high productivity, industries can product the competitivegoods. So we research on the forming process and system to make microfunctional pattern on the metal component
