The evolution of technology makes closed systems become increasingly complex; for example critical and cyber physical systems (CPS) that exist in large industries, which are often built with the assembly of various heterogeneous components. The modeling and analysis of such systems, assembled with open, perimeter-less, frequently reconfigurable components due to requirements, which communicate with each other to cooperatively perform various tasks, is a challenge in software engineering. Here we present a new method for modeling and verifying of the assembly of heterogeneous components; it aims at reducing the difficulty of the analysis of the heterogeneous components assembly, based on the dynamic model of the components. The method consists in verifying the components through successive levels, related to agreed-upon facets. Our method is an extension of a traditional contract to a generalized contract which tackle heterogeneity. It can be used in different domains where we can verify complex and heterogeneous systems based on their models, in order to avoid the loss of time and the over-cost of errors detection in an advanced phase.
