In contrast with classical approaches, we present the project based onconsidering Collective Behaviours as coherent sequences of states adopted bydifferent single systems consisting of the same elements interacting over timein different ways, i.e., through sequences of variable structures or phasetransitions. This coherence is considered here as being represented by thevalues taken by suitable mesoscopic variables and their properties representedby Meta-Structures. We introduce a formal tool, i.e., the mesoscopic generalvector to represent the adoption, over time, of mesoscopic properties byInteracting Collective elements. We explore novel conceptual aspects includingDynamic Mesoscopic Levels of Description; necessary and sufficientmeta-structural conditions for the establishment and conservation over time ofCollective Behaviours; relationships between Meta-Structures and BoundaryConditions to transform, even partially, the former into the latter toprescribe and induce the emergence of Collective Behaviours as well as coherentMultiple Systems or coherent Collective Beings. We present future lines ofresearch and possible applications.
