The image of the organization can be based on the interaction of the individual's cognition and perceptions with the environmental factors. As a result of the empowerment activity, the school manager’s management concept is developing and the employees’ perception on their self-efficacy and self-confidence is increasing. This reflects the perceived image positively and can contribute to the sharing of the organizational image with the external environment by school administrators and employees at the same time. In this context, this research examining the relationship between the school administrators' psychological empowerment and organizational image is thought to contribute to the literature. In this study, it was aimed to determine the level of psychological empowerment and organizational image perception of school administrators and to investigate whether there is a significant difference in their perception levels according to position, school type, gender, occupational seniority and educational level variables. Based on the purpose of the study, mean, frequency and standard deviation and nonparametric tests were used. It was documented that there was no significant difference in the school administrators’ empowerment sub-dimensions and the quality dimensions of organizational image according to the independent variables. The school administrators’ organizational image level was found to show no significant difference according to school type, gender and educational level variables. Appearance, infrastructure image and organizational image in favor of manager assistants according to the position variable; social, infrastructure, program image and organizational image perceptions were found to be significantly different according to occupational status. It was concluded that there was a moderate positive relationship between the school administrators’ psychological empowerment and organizational image perceptions. As a result of the study, it can be suggested that by increasing school administrators’ perceptions on psychological empowerment and increase the influence of school administrators can be increased in creating and sharing positive and strong school image.
