A usina hidrelétrica Mauá: interesse do estado antagônico à proteção dos direitos difusos e fatores sociais

Este artigo verifica a problemática na construção da UHE de Mauá, bem como os principais impasses à execução do projeto. Analisa a questão das populações ribeirinhas, com ênfase nos aspectos humanos e em direitos adquiridos assegurados juridicamente. Avalia os interesses do Estado na construção de hidrelétricas, para efetivar a expansão da matriz energética brasileira. Descreve problemas ambientais provenientes da realização da obra, bem como justifica a necessidade de proteção desse patrimônio como bem coletivo. Conclui com análise de fontes alternativas de geração de energia, menos gravosas ao Rio Tibagi.This article verifies the problems in the construction of the Mauá Hydroelectric Power Plant, as well as the main problems the project execution. Examines the issue of coastal communities, with emphasis on human aspects and acquired rights guaranteed legally. Evaluates the state's interests in the construction of hydroelectric power, to effect the expansion of the Brazilian energy matrix. Describes environmental problems on the realization of the work and justifies the need for protection of this heritage as a collective good. It concludes with an analysis of alternative sources of power generation, less onerous to Rio Tibagi
