Development of an information system for managing research and educational activities of the university

The research and development of an automated information system for managing and conducting research activities of a university is a kind of systematization of the database of sci-entific and educational, research activities, personnel work, and management activities of universi-ties. The article considers the practical approaches to the solution of the problem in the developed information system. The stages of the implementation of the platform for the management of re-search activities of the university are spelled out. The main modules of systematic management of scientific information, research data and educational materials are analyzed, which provides a more convenient and efficient access for teachers, researchers, and allows them to perform scientific re-search and educational tasks more productively, and also allows the university to prevent waste of labor resources due to manual administration
