The paper is devoted to the possible application of the method of proof by contradiction in school and university physics courses. The article presents the essence of the method and some important questions and problems encountered in the course of physics, in the solution of which the method of proof by contradiction has the necessary and effective application./Սույն աշխատանքը նվիրված է ֆիզիկայի դպրոցական և բուհական դասընթացներում հակասող ենթադրության մեթոդի հնարավոր կիրառություններին: Հոդվածում ներկայացված է հակասող ենթադրության մեթոդի էությունը և բերված են ֆիզիկայի դասընթացում հանդիպող որոշ կարևոր հարցեր և խնդիրներ, որոնց լուծման ընթացքում հակասող ենթադրության մեթոդն ունի անհրաժեշտ և արդյունավետ կիրառություն:
