Anxiety is one of the disorders with the highest clinical prevalence worldwide; Brief Strategic Therapy is been shown to be effective in treating anxiety cases. The present study aims to evaluate the efficacy of anxiety treatment through Strategic Brief Therapy. The clinical case of a 38-year-old woman with an anxiety disorder is presented, brief strategic therapy is applied, measurement is made using the Lima anxiety scale (EAL - 20) and a self-registration form; a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up at three months are applied. By applying the EAL-20 to the patient in the pre-test, a direct score of 14 was obtained, and in the post-test and follow-up: a direct score of 0, respectively. Non-overlap indices (PND) are analyzed to estimate therapeutic change, a complete remission of anxiogenic symptoms is evidenced. The care and treatment of the present case had relevance at a clinical and experimental level with the complete remission of symptoms and the achievement of therapeutic objectives.
