من ألوان التفسير : التفسير بالمأثور This thesis aims at emphasizing the reliability of orthodox interpretation of the Quran. Recourse to other methods of interpretation should not be attempted unless the former procedure proves to be unattainable. The research also draws attention to the many pitfalls attending other methods and interpretations. These pitfalls are understood to refer to the authenticity of historical facts - the mere reporting and events meant to shed gigot and interpreting the Quran. Hence meticulous care should be spent in sifting out these events, particularly the ones that relate to "Asbab Alnozul" (occurrences attending the revelation of the Quran).
