This article aims to highlight the issues of dividing the movement of pedestrians and transport in the urban space of regions with a sharply continental climate using the example of the city of Nur-Sultan, where the main condition will be to ensure mutual relations between participants in the movement. The analysis of world experience shows that one of the principles of the formation of a smart city in the context of urban planning solutions, such an action solves a number of problems associated with urban transport and pedestrian connections.
