В статье рассматривается федерация как форма государственного устройства, как многоаспектное государственно-правовое явление. Раскрываются особенности федерализма, состоящие, прежде всего, в создании баланса централизации и децентрализации, совмещении единства и многообразия. Определяются плюсы и минусы указанного административно-территориального деления государства. The article examines the federation as a form of government, as a multifaceted state-legal phenomenon. The article reveals the features of federalism, consisting, first of all, in creating a balance of centralization and decentralization, combining unity and diversity. The pros and cons of the indicated administrativeterritorial division of the state are determined.
