Hydrogeographical methods of estimating nonmeasured discharges presented in this article are used to estimate the mean discharges in a period measured on water courses which are not directly included in the network of gauging stations. This article provides a theoretical starting point and methodological procedures used to estimate non-measured discharges on Slovenian water courses and draws attention to some limitations to which we have been exposed
