The coronavirus pandemic has significantly affected the risk of developing and the clinical course of cardiovascular disease. The article considers in detail the main provisions of the effect of coronavirus on the cardiovascular system and the peculiarities of the management of patients with certain diseases of the cardiovascular system. The injuries can be divided into several variants: myocarditis, myocardial ischemia associated with impaired blood supply, against the background of both atherosclerotic and intact arteries, myocardial changes as a result of endothelium, and, finally, a combination of different mechanisms.
