The petrography, chemistry and magnetic properties of igneous rocks, dominantly basaltic, dredged near K.ap Walls,le, have been studied to determine their provenance. With the exception of one basalt of possible local origin, all specimens were probably ice-rafted over 1000 km from the Lower Tertiary East Greenland igneous province.
