Does creative criticism contribute to the extension of the circle of creative texts with the different characteristics it has?! Does it carry other tasks in addition to its duties in examination, analysis and judgment by which it tries to extricate literature from the traps of its degeneration and the dilemmas of its problems to restore its ability to perform its high human function?! This paper tries to answer these questions within the scope of literary criticism in Iraq.
