The article substantiates the need to introduce modern methods ofmanaging the efficient operation of ports. The method of calculating theintegral indicator of port efficiency is given. The components of the integralindicator of efficiency are substantiated. An example of the calculation andanalysis of the data. Proved the practical value of the proposed tool forassessing the effectiveness of the port for investors
