A produção do conhecimento soteriológico na Índia antiga

RESUMOO presente artigo objetiva oferecer algumas reflexões acerca da produção do conhecimento soteriológico na Índia antiga. Para tanto, o texto é dividido em três partes. Num primeiro momento, se oferecem algumas explicações acerca do papel do mestre (guru/acārya), figura central da produção e difusão do conhecimento soteriológico na Índia antiga; posteriormente são analisados alguns contextos culturais daquela tradição através dos textos centrados na produção daquele saber; finalmente, destacam-se os pré-requisitos para se embarcar naquele projetosoteriológico.Palavras-chave: Soteriologia indiana antiga; produção de conhecimento na Índiaantiga; Upanisads; guru; pré-requisitos.ABSTRACTThis paper aims at being an attempt to offer some reflections on the production of the soteriological knowledge in ancient India, being, hence, divided into three parts.
