The ongoing corona pandemic has created unparalleled fear in the minds of mankind. Humanity, all over the world, is trying, praying and playing its role in containing the Pandemic faced by the World. These are unusual , uncertain times, we never had imagined .The dental professionals have always been exposed to various life threatening diseases like HIV, Hepatitis B, Tuberculosis, to name only a few. This new Covid 19 virus varies from all the above-mentioned infections that we know by having a very high human to human transmission rate and relatively long incubation period. And, I strongly believe that we are much better prepared to deal with this situation than many of our other colleagues in the field of healthcare.
