The main stages of the preventive radioecological assessment of territory were considered for the emergency preparedness response in case of accidents at NPP, optimization of agrosphere emergency monitoring and decision to hold the protective measures. The requirements were formulated for cartographic information structure and composition which is ne cessary for preventive assessment of territory. The technological procedures were developed which provide the adequacy, accuracy and reliability of radioecological assessments. It shows a map of radioecological assessment of Ukrainian Polissia territory contaminated with radionuclides due to the Chernobyl accident.
