Social studies are considered to be less attractive and even many students become passive because they only accept learning material by listening to teacher lectures. The purpose of this study was to improve student social studies learning outcomes by applying examples non examples cooperative learning. This research was conducted at Bumi Ayu State Elementary School 019 with 23 subjects as many as 23 students. The form of research used is classroom action research. The study was conducted in 2 cycles, each through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed that at the basic score the number of students who completed was 11 people with a percentage of 47.8%, while the number of students who did not complete were 14 people with a percentage of 52.2%. In the first cycle the number of students who completed was 18 people with a percentage of 78.2%, while the number of students who did not complete was 5 people with a percentage of 21.8%. In the second cycle the number of students who completed was 24 with a percentage of 91.3% while the number of students who did not complete was 2 people with a percentage of 8.6%. based on these results it can be concluded that by applying cooperative learning models examples non examples can improve social studies learning outcomes of students in class IV.C 019 Bumi Ayu Elementary School.
