The review analyzes the book by S.I. Zakhartsev «Law: New Ideas and Readings». Purpose: to analyze S.I. Zakhartsev’s views on the comprehensive theory of law proposed by him in the monograph as well as other scientific issues put forward by the researcher. Methods: in the analysis of this study, empirical methods of description, comparison, interpretation, formal and dialectical logic are used. Results: the reviewers conclude that the work is relevant and useful to a wide range of specialists: professors, teachers, scientists, practitioners and applicants.
