In this article, a secondary school science student describes development and implementation of 3D-printed supports - with wooden dowels - to make cost-effective and environmentally sustainable 'parallets,' which are like small parallel bars used in calisthenics training. These were developed as research-informed and negotiated actions to overcome harms the student perceived in relationships among fields of science & technology and societies & environments (STSE).
