
La classe d'histoire comme lieu pour développer un regard critique sur la commémoration

As a tool of power, commemoration stages the past and history while keeping in mind the preoccupations of the present in order to build a homogeneous national identity. As such, it seems necessary to us to address it with students of primary and high schools. This article provides a brief overview of the dynamics of commemoration by highlighting how it can be used as a framework for in-class critical analysis with students.
