Much has been written about the Beijing Conference since its conclusion just four months ago. Yet very little of what has been written was reflective of the reality. In an effort to communicate the importance of the Beijing Conference from theperspective of women who were actually there, the Institute for Women's Studies in the Arab World organized an informal gathering entitled "Beijing and After."
