Death is something that humans fear. An ongoing pandemic resulting in large numbers of deaths will cause mass hysteria. The global population experiences this at the end of 2019, namely the Covid-19 pandemic. Humanity is trying to overcome the spread of the disease medically. Still, it is also necessary to be able to provide a formulation of the right social attitude in overcoming the pandemic. This paper aims to find the right quarantine and hospitality models to care for life during the Covid-19 pandemic based on the study of Church history in dealing with various pandemics. This paper uses a qualitative approach to the type of historical research. Data was collected by a study of literary criticism about the historical study of Church history and the response of the Church Fathers in the face of a pandemic in their times. The results of this study indicate that the past and response of church fathers emphasized the importance of quarantine and hospitality in the face of a pandemic that took place in his day. The implementation of this attitude emphasizes the importance of quarantine and hospitality in the face of a pandemic, including the current Covid-19 pandemic.
