Law no. 217/2020 on the modification and amendment of the Criminal Code and of the Criminal Procedure Code has as a main objective to strengthen the answer to some criminal offences perpetrated against minors. This analysis tries to establish whether such intervention of the legislator is modified, analyzing only the modifications and amendments of the Special part of the Criminal Code.
