The monograph of the Bulgarian researcher Tsv. Georgieva “The family and kinship names in the Bulgarian language (semantics and lexicography)”. Sofi a, 2016. 213 s. is reviewed.A detailed analysis of the lexical semantics of more than 1200 common, as well as dialect and outdated kinship terms, extracted from various Bulgarian dictionaries,is given.
