Against the serious consequences of climate change, a newgrowth model has been established. The green growth or low carbon growthfocuses on the efficient use of natural resources, it also enhances the use ofrenewable energy and environmentally-friendly technologies. Therefore, thegreen growth is now a trend with new global rules being shaped. This paperpresents the trend of Southeast Asian countries on green growth in mineralmining, one of the economic growth activities which has a negative impacton the environment so that draw lessons for Viet Nam.
