The analysis of two gas distribution systems related to the development of promising areas in the gas industry is carried out. To reduce costs in the gas distribution system, it is proposed to use high and medium gas pressure, except for residential buildings. In front of each agricultural object, it is necessary to provide for the location of the cabinet installation. In the hydraulic calculation of a dead-end gas network of high and medium pressure, the method of rational distribution of pressure drops between sections of the gas network was used. This made it possible to determine the optimal size of diameters, which is associated with a reduction in the cost of building gas pipelines in agriculture.
