The media has a role in protecting children through child-friendly reporting. The reporting must be in accordance with the PPRA. This research identifies the implementation of PPRA on 14 child abuse news stories on Tribunnews.com from 15 January 2020 to 15 February 2020. This research uses media reality construction theory. Researchers found that most of the coverages are in accordance with PPRA. Almost all of the children’s identities are not visible, although there are still violations, such as mentioning the identity of the victim’s father and mentioning the name of the school.
