The first part of the Confucian Analects, Hosio R, especially the first three sentences, works as the fundamental principle illustrating personal development. Three levels of personal goal have been included, such as receive the fun of learning by learning and practicing according to the conditions and time; cultivating other people by communication and teaching and self fulfillment. Lots of Confucius’ philosophy revealed in this article would be also beneficial to contemporary teachers’ professional growing.
