AbstractThis research reports studies on the historical aspects of electromagnetism held in partnership with the engineering undergraduate students of the Centro Universitário de Caratinga, who are part of the Integrated Sciences Project, which is part of the disciplines of Physics and Chemistry, and which give the emphasis on the relevance of the experimental methodology of Michael Faraday from 1845 to 1850. The original texts of Faraday and his commentators concerning the context in Portuguese articles were prioritized, providing the preparation of didactic texts for scientific dissemination. The results of that led to evolve some interdisciplinary seminars on the applicability of science in the historical context of that time, in order to contribute with texts of interdisciplinary approaches. Keywords: Scientific Divulgation; Interdisciplinarity; Physics Teaching; History of Science and Teaching
