Denture stomatitis is an ordinaty disease among pacients that use removable dentures. These disease is caracterized by hiperemia, edema and moderate to intense inflamation. The etiology of denture stomatitis has many causes, but it has a direct relationship with the use total denture. Of a total of nine pacients, four of them had their dentures exchanged and five had their denture removed at night for desinfection using 1% hipoclorite solution. Both treatments showed to be usefull, but the exchange of denture alow a healing in minor period of time.
